Med&X has several main projects, which include the annual international Plexus Conference, international programs for young Croatian medical students, Med&X Accelerator, and public lectures aimed at popularizing science.

The Plexus Conference is an annual international conference held in Croatia, which aims to connect and inspire young biomedical professionals with career paths and advice from leaders in biomedicine, such as Nobel laureates. Since 2017, our team has organized several similar conferences that have attracted over 2300 participants from 30+ countries and featured talks from 9 Nobel laureates and other leaders in medicine, such as the Chief Medical Officer of Microsoft, Vice President of AstraZeneca, and Chief Scientist of the World Health Organization. We also offer unique international programs called Med&X Catalyst that allows young Croatian medical students to gain invaluable clinical, scientific, and personal experience by spending 1-2 months in a scientific laboratory or in the clinic at leading biomedical institutions worldwide, such as Harvard University and Cleveland Clinic. By students returning to Croatia and transferring this knowledge, we believe the whole the whole medical and broader community will benefit.

The Med&X Accelerator program is designed to teach highly ambitious high school students in Croatia how to evaluate and write scientific papers, enabling them to learn essential skills even before they attend college or a biomedical school. These programs accelerate their knowledge in a rapid pace and are incredibly useful for students to get an introduction to science. Our organization also organizes various public lectures aimed at popularizing science and inspiring the next generation of biomedical professionals.
